KOWS RADIO OCCIDENTAL 107.3 FM
The station is licensed under the FCC's "low-power" FM service. While the "effective radiated power" is 100 watts, the power at the transmitter is only 3 watts. The signal can be heard quite well in Occidental, Freestone, Camp Meeker, and Graton. Due to the local geography, coverage in Sebastopol, Forestville, Fulton, Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park is dependent on your exact position and whether you have a line-of-sight to the transmitter. However, about 2/3 of Santa Rosa can receive the station quite well. The station is researching ways of expanding and strengthening our signal, which is subject to FCC regulations. ABOUT THE STREAMING LINK: We are streaming online, but the link must be refreshed every couple of hours, otherwise it will loop and you will not be getting the live feed. |
